Sally Hansen & Elianto Review

10.09.2012

I've been trying my hardest to finish up this tiny bottle of base coat that seems to last for eternity. I have no idea is it just this bottle that i bought or is it that its just.... !!!!CRAP!!! Especially coming from such a brand - Sally Hansen.

This is the Insta-Grip Fast Dry Base Coat. And it not only doesn't dry fast like it claims (longer than a half hour), it also makes little tiny lumps on my nails when it dries. Every single time i try to use it!!!

And since i've already put it on, i thought let's not waste it and just continue to put on a nail color. But sadly, the new color I bought, by Elianto, a korean brand (in 35 Thistle) was a poor choice at any time. Aside from its adorable shade of pink, it totally doesn't seem to dry AT ALL. After putting on the first coat (with the base coat completely dried), I waited patiently for half an hour. Then another half hour. But by the end of a good one and a half hour, despite blowing at it and sitting in front of a high speed fan, it resulted in a terrible scratch when i accidentally slid my finger across my bed.

All that effort and time for nothing.

So the final end, here's how it looks like with my lumpy and scratched nails.
I have nothing more to say to you dearies other than: "NOT TO BUY THESE"

Of cos, don't get me wrong. I'm not saying these brands are bad ( well, i'm not sure about Elianto though). But if you were to get a base and color, consider my warnings told.

Luv,
Millie
