Clarisonic Mia - A tool for the beautiful skin

Hey guys, I just came across this super cute looking equipment that seems to be the talk among girls with and without problem skin in the States. And this is the Clarisonic Mia. Apparently girls with cystic acne are also saying that it works wonders. And from all ages between 20-55. How great is that?!!

So let me just give a short intro on what this is and how this works. For this particular gadget, it comes in 3 different series. The first would be the Clarisonic Plus, then Mia and lastly, Mia 2. My main interest would be the Mia, as compared to Plus, it is less bulky and clumsy and can be brought for travel. However, for Mia 2, it has the different speeds and a pulse function to inform you on when is it time to change spots. This, I honestly think is unnecessary. But on the whole, this is generally used to cleanse, exfoliate and remove make up for you. And the bristles can be chosen according to your skin's compatibility.

Now why do we need a tool to clean our face since we've been using our hands for years and decades? Well, Clarisonic Mia uses high frequency vibration of their ultra fine bristles (i'm guessing even finer than our visible pores) on your skin so that not just the surface dirt, but the grime and dirt trapped in your pores can be removed. And through loads of research, I've found that many people (NOT ALL) are claiming that their pore size are reduced as dirt are removed, and stubborn blackheads are gone as well! Of cos this isn't any miracle since its common sense that the traditional way of cleansing our face is only surface deep. So clogged pores cant be cleared with just our hands and soap.

The best part is it comes in soo many different colors, you can match it to your personality!!!

This would be the different brush heads that you would have to change once in awhile when the bristles fray- $20/head

Final result? Clear, radiant and glowing healthy skin. Especially since it promotes blood circulation throughout.

If you really think that this is gonna be just another expensive thing that may not work and will be just another big disappointment, I feel your pain. I myself am still contemplating on whether I should get it yet since its abit pricey just for a tool to wash and exfoliate my face. But in view of the rating of this product, I think it's only a matter of time I succumb to this luxury. Haiz.... All vain gal's woos...

So I haven't seen this in our Sephora, But the one sold in US is about US$115. A little steep I'd say. But if this can be replaced for countless salon and facial visits, I think it'll be great in the long run.

I know you may be a little skeptical about this whole thing, so if you are really interested in getting that better looking skin, do check out their reviews online and see how things goes.

PS: For those out there who will be planning to get this some time or other, remember not to press the
brush against your skin so hard that it scratches or damages it. You still need to be extra delicate
      with it.

PPS: Let me know what you think of this. Will you get it? Or are you doubtful about this...
