Brunch at Choupinette

4.20.2012

Decided to get brunch ytd, since JJ finally had time off from work which is quite unusual. But seeing that I had so much work to do, I only could spare some time for the morning. Anyway, we decided to try out this place called Choupinette, just beside Coronation Plaza . Its a very small quint place that sits about maybe 6 tables, and the place is very clean, with a rustic feel to it. Very cottage style, which I LOVVVE.

They have lots of different items on the menu, and other pastries as well from the counter. The things there I'd consider fairly affordable, of about less than $30/pax. Here's what we had...

Soup of the Day: Cauliflower Soup
Not that fantastic to me. But JJ likes it.

They gave us a small teapot each for whatever hot berverage we'd like.
I had Ceylon tea which was very nice
JJ had English Bfast
On top of that, they also served us bfast juice (All comes with the set meal)
I had Grapefruit
and he, passion fruit
And then comes the awesome meal!!
JJ ordered the Eggs Benedict
which was so so delicious. We both really love it

This is a close up. I'm not sure what sort of toast they used
But it was really really good

And mine, which was nice, but not as good as JJ's,
was the English Coq.
It had tomato, mushroom, egg, sausage and wholemeal roll

All in all, it was pretty filling and it only totalled up to S$52.80. I feel if its once in awhile, its fine to eat at such places. And the ambience counts for alot. Maybe you guys can go check it out for yourselves.
