Nam Nam Noodle Bar

12.20.2012

Ytd was such a fruitful day for a lazy person. Woke up late in the morning and made myself brunch before heading out for some shopping. It was one of those rare days that i felt like MAKING such a big b'fast, and thankfully my fridge didn't fail me. A good start for the day!

I'm trying to steer my food away from animal's milk, so I tried the Organic Unsweetened Almond Milk from Pacific, at NTUC. And I must say, apart from the delicious sent of roasted almond nuts which isn't too overpowering, it tastes just like water. Colored water that is... So for those who like to start a healthy diet, you guys can try this out. It helps in weight management, and is healthy for your heart, skin, bones and eyes.

After that, I went to do my rounds for X'mas shopping. I'm proud to say that almost all are done. And I managed to get many things at a discount! Everywhere seems to be having a discount! My most fruitful outlet was at Typo! Its having 30% discount storewide and there're just sooo many things worth getting!! However, MDS was a nightmare when I went in. It was just overcrowded and trying to move within the shop was a nightmare. But it really shows how popular they're becoming. Thinking back, from a small blogshop selling averagely $20-$30 per item, it is now selling many at almost double/triple of it. But I guess since they've improved their quality, it does deserve to hike its price. But seeing that this season is a spending season and I spent almost $100 for 2 items in that shop alone really hurts my pocket. But oh well, I can't blame anyone but myself for my weak will. Haha...

And finally, something I've been anticipating sharing with you guys is the place I went for dinner with my besties. Its a newly opened Vietnamese noodle bar at Raffles City #B1-46, called Nam Nam. The food there is really fantastic. I have nothing but praises for those that we have ordered.

But amongst all, what I'd highly recommend is the Flower-crab noodles. Everything about it was mouth-watering. Considering that I don't/almost never eat Mi-Fen, and when it came, I was a little upset that it was, but from the first bite right down to the last was simply delicious. And i'm just talking about the Mi-fen... The rest was just so good you have to try it yourself.

In addition, their handmade sorbet are also one you shouldn't miss. I tried both the Mango and Pomegranate and though they taste similar, its still worth trying both.

So for those who're interested in knowing what is the price range like, here's what I can share with you. It isn't very expensive and its really worth every cent! So for those foodies out there, here's somewhere you can go if you're around the area!

Luv,
Millie
