Wicked of Oz

This was our pre-Valentines day special. Since JJ wont have the time to celebrate it with me on the actual day, we pushed it forward.

So, he got tickets to see Wicked with me! I've been wanting to go catch it but didn't think he'd like watching musicals. But to my surpise, he got the tickets with good seats! I could even see the conductor waving his wand so clearly. I was so stoked!
This is by far the first time he managed to surprise me completly. Though i did make guesses about it out of the blue, but he managed to throw me off the track a couple of times. Saying we were going to watch the Illuminator at the final desperate attemp. And i bought it. So only 5 min into the show did i realise that it was truely wicked. Hahaha...

 It takes alot to make me give a good rating. Even if i were anticipating to catch the show for quite awhile. So, i'd give it 4 outta 5 stars. Apart from the good theatrics, the lighting and the performance of the cast were impossible to find fault with. The picture above with the rays of light directing on the witch actually showed that much rainbows. It really made the effect of the story telling that much more incredible. in addition, the lip syncing was perfect. You couldn't tell if they were doing it life or not had it not been the amount of time they had to sing that loud for 3hrs.

I'm really glad I caught the show finally. And i'm still happy thinking about it.
So if you guys have been meaning to catch it, GO!!!
